Each participant receives a notebook of background materials and helpful drawings of the sites. Optional morning lectures enrich each day of touring.
Most guides simply point out to you where things happened. We want you to understand the more important point of why things happen where they happened.
Through maps and diagrams we set the stage for the biblical drama to come alive.
The Study Center offers discerning travelers an opportunity to gain a fuller understanding of Biblical stories by visiting archaeological sites in the ancient world and applying the texts to the physical and cultural settings we see.
Our Study tours are led by theologically trained teachers and expert guides. One of our specialities is to design and present each day's itinerary so that the subjects include both academic and faith issues of any biblical texts on the route we are traveling. It is our hope that the participants on the trip will feel their travel was in the spirit of Luke 24:32, "Did not our hearts burn within us as he enlightened our minds?"
